@SHINee 5HINee He is boring for a talk show, especially an unscripted, semi-Korean one. He talks & expresses himself like he has been trained to (*trained as in "cultivated in an environment where the KVariety Industry understood SM's training for idols & vice versa") ; plus he has 13yrs of experience in the biz, so that makes it hard for him to do something radical. A lot of native Korean SM idols cannot handle American talk shows because they have an upright image in Korea that they cannot betray. Not criticism, I agree with SM's training & rules, it just doesnt resonate with some audiences. Anyway, Minho wanted to meet Jessi because he genuinely likes her & her music, so I respect him for that. Nonetheless, he must have seen an episode of the Show & could have come better prepared. He should have : danced atleast 2 times, rapped about "Law of the Jungle", displayed a skill he learnt on LOTJ, taken off his jacket so he could flex his muscles in the physical challenge, performed a bit role or a re-enactment of one of his roles, etc. Ever since Minho was discharged from the military, he looks so sad & withdrawn. He needs to take changes in his life more seriously. Just moving into a new house & playing by SM's rules isn't going to make him attractive to be cast as a permanent Variety/Reality Star (which is his goal, as stated in the interview). He knows this, so why is he hesitating to try

@nmvp1258 I agree. I think Minho's training in SM made him really wary & fixed in his behaviour. Onew noticed his newly developed stutter after being discharged from the military-He asked Minho if his stutter was due to him holding back what he wants to say. Honestly, apart from his looks & dance skills, he isn't star material...He would do really well working in a company, at management level. I also felt that maybe he was interested in dating Jessi, in real life. He's more interested in her than she is. Appearing on her show, was probably to meet her, personally, rather than to focus on being funny/interesting for the show. When you watch the episode with this context, it's more fun. Plus, Jessi LOVES to exaggerate her American & "non-Korean speaker" personality whenever she is around SM artists, just to rub it in their faces-that they are unable to be as free-wheeling & fun like her, due to SM's strict training & rules. So here, she establishes herself as an American/New Yorker, who LOVES to fluster a conservative Korean male like Minho. Anyway, I hope Minho got her phone no. or atleast asked her out for a date, in exchange for sitting down for her show. Jessi is too lonesome, & she cried throughout the recording of her new song. Boring guys like Minho are exactly what she needs, for now.
